Holey Grail Donuts, born in Kauai, Hawaii, is beloved for its unique taro-based craft donuts. As their strategic partner for their first Japan entry, we produced the entire journey—from initial planning to on-site operational infrastructure.

The heart of the project was perfectly recreating that “”beloved Hawaiian flavor”” while translating it for the Japanese market context. We designed every function necessary for the brand’s birth in Japan: from establishing local ingredient sourcing and directing precise recipe reproduction to recruiting and training a team that embodies the brand’s philosophy, and executing a high-impact POP-UP STORE. We ensured the brand’s intention lived in every detail, marking its first step in Japan with authentic energy.
